Chocolate Chip Cookies

1lb butter softened
1 1/2 cups white sugar
2 cups Brown sugar
3 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
6 cups all purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp baking soda
1 1/2 tsp or less of salt (I only put about 1/2 tsp)
4 cups chocolate chips

preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cream butter and sugars. Mix in eggs and vanilla. Add flour, baking soda and salt. Stir win chocolate chips. Bake for 8-10 minutes.

So this recipe came from my sister in law. these cookies are the only chocolate chip cookies I have ever made that have turned out right, usually my cookies are all flat and not good at all so Danny gave me this recipe and it worked. This is the 2nd time I have made them the 1st time they destroyed my poor beaters so I had to by new beaters and this time Chad kept asking me if my beaters were going to blow up because of the smell but they were just fine. I think in need an upgrade to a Kitchen aid standing mixer, someday maybe :0). The best thing about this recipe is it makes a TON of cookies so you can freeze some of it.

So January has been kind of a quiet month nothing has happened. Last weekend Chad and I drove my grandma and grandpa to Wendover to see Willie Neilson in concert, my grandma loves him so my dad got her tickets for Christmas she was in heaven that is all she could talk about when someone would ask her what she got for Christmas (Scott got me Willie tickets). Besides that my grandma love wendover she would go there all the time if my grandpa would take her but sense he hates that place and refuses to donate his money they don't go that often, I did win $100-,got a message and spent some much needed quiet time with Chad, Thanks MoM and DaD for watching the kidos. Monday morning I made pancakes that were shaped like MiCkEy MoUsE and Dax thought they were amazing so that was fun. No Pics from wendover but pics of pancakes.

Hair

This picture of Logan makes me laugh it looks like she has a comb over. She is into this new thing where she does not like to eat baby food she is to big for that so. She loves wheat bread and crackers, So today I decided to let her feed herself I gave her peaches but no she would not eat them I don't know if it was because they were squishy or what so she played with the applesauce and at cheese. Dax was never this picky.

We are so blessed for our little family what great memories we have made this year. This year we have welcomed new ones into the world and said goodbye to those whose time is was to go. As I take a look back I see how truly blessed we are to live in this great country. I can't believe my baby boy is almost 4 and my baby girl is almost 10 months, it all goes by so fast so remember to hold on to what really matters. Happy New Year!
