I know I needed Dax to be my first child because of how patient and understanding he is. Not to mention his impeccable memory and attention to detail..Dax and Logan are so different from one another Dax is my calm child that always listens and never breaks the rules and then there is the blond terror that is always breaking the rules (she does not have many) Just stay by mom and don't bite but do you think she listens?!? No she bites, screams, throws fits and does not stay by me what the heck..It must be the girl in her or she must be a secret red head. Then there is Dax so calm most of the time he has his moments like everyone but man I am so blessed I have him (I am blessed for Logan as well) But with Dax it is different he is also older but when he was Logan's age he was so sweet so Dax...He can remember anything and everything you tell him and listens to everything his teacher and Grandma tell/say to him. Pays attention to every word that comes out of your mouth, and everything that is going on man he is so smart. Love you guys

Some funny things that happened this week, we were eating dinner and Dax was leaning over to eat something off Logan's plate and she say to him "sit down Daxy" it was so cute she is a little bossy butt and the guys in this house listen to everything she say because the next morning Logan say the her Daddy " Sit down Daddy" in a very bossy voice. Also When we pray and dinner or breakfast Dax has been saying a pray by himself with no help and why he is praying Logan has both arms folded with one hand on her fork eating it is so funny.. I love my cute kiddos the make me smile everyday I am so blessed

hAlLoWeEn HaLlOwEeN

Halloween this year was so fun both the kids loved the costumes and loved trick or treating..We started the night off with Chili, scones, wassail, and of course CANDY. My little lady bug is a garbage gut she was in heaven with all the candy (funny thing is my kiddos have not asked for there candy ever since Halloween ended). After everyone left our house me and the kids headed out around our neighborhood trick or treating that was sad we have nobody that lives by us and those that do weren't home so we made it to about 5 houses. Then we headed to my Grannies (or old bird that is what my kids call her) She had made yummy Carmel corn, after that we headed down the road to see all the carved pumpkins that is something I love to do every year they are so many and so awesome. Then out we headed for more Trick or Treating it was so cute every piece of candy Dax got he was like WOW look at this Dad and Logan just wanted to keep holding hers/or eating it, every door Dax knocked on Logan would knock as well it was so cute in her little voice Tick teat (in Logan Talk) she talks very well for almost being 19mo. For the last two Halloween my wonderful Mom has dressed up for Dax and he loves it so this year I painted my face sorry no pictures it was white with black eyes Dax told me I looked like a dead Mom and so that was what I was I wish I could have taken a picture of Chad, Dax and Logan's face when they first saw me it was priceless, Chad later dressed as a Jamaican..HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Logan cracks me up in her pictures her face says it all, which is just like mine and can get you in trouble when you are older.But it is so cute because I can usually tell what she is thinking my her face...And then there was Dax he is so photogenic and can't take a bad picture if he tried oh I so love these kids.

We Carved pumpkins the other night the kids loved it Logan kept digging in hers and trying to get all the guts out of her pumpkin....Chad carved the Frankenstein, Dax and I did the other silly face ones. After we were all done and Logan was in bed Dax and I went threw and picked out all the seeds and made pumpkin seeds they were way yummy..

Black ISLAND Farms

Dax's preschool class went on a field trip to Black Island Farms the other day they had so much fun..Big hay slides, animal train rides, big jumping pumpkin, hayrides,goat feedings, music and pig races. Dax and his friend Tate had the same shirts on and they were so cute together Dax kept telling everyone that him and Tate had matching shirts. The hayride was alot of fun they kids got to pick pumpkins, I wasn't going to get Logan one because I kindof felt bad because I didn't even have to pay for her (it is not like she did a bunch of stuff and I could have paid for her they did alot of fun stuff for just $4.00). One of the funny things about that day is when we put the kids on the animal train I put Dax and Logan together and Heather put Tate and Dylan..so the train left went behind some corn and around and around and when it came back there were all the kids but Dylan and Heather was like oh my heck where is he and we are laughing and we go over by Tate's train car and Dylan is inside the cart down below with a huge smile.

Always remembered never forgotten

Always remembered never forgotten these words mean so much to me.. The first year after I lost Carter, I remember sitting in my front room and and my neighbor bringing over these flowers the flower place left at her house and me thinking who sent me flowers not Chad, but two gals that me more to me then they will ever know. I remember crying before I even opened the card seeing the words "Always remembered never forgotten, We love you Carter." As I write this I get all teary eyed and it has been over 4 years sense that card. These gals have always been there for me and I have always been my best friends even if we dont see each other alot or do alot they are always the best, but when I lost Carter I could not even talk to them, even a text message was so hard for me, I didn't know what to say but I later realized I didn't need to say anything I just needed them. I have not shown very many people pictures of Carter but they have seen him. What brings this story up is that my aunt and uncle lost there son a year ago tomorrow and I am not a person good with words at all so when I was thinking about there loss this kept popping up in my head "Always remembered never forgotten" so I sent flowers with that on them, my Uncle called today to say thanks and me not being good at words at all cried. All that I could tell him was that Nick ways loved and never forgotten. We Love you Nick

Yummy Pumpkin Chocolate Chip cookies

These pictures are great of Logan and the Popcorn I have never let her eat popcorn until a few weeks ago because It scares me of her getting those little things stuck in her mouth...So over conference we blew up an air mat and let the kids lay on it and have popcorn Long story short she was in heaven.....

Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Cookies

1sq butter (softened)

1C brown sugar

1/4C white sugar

2 Eggs

1C pumpkin

1teas lemon extract

1 bag mini chocolate chips

Cream together butter, sugars, eggs and pumpkin.

Sift together

2C flour

2teas cinnamon

1/2teas salt

1/2teas nutmeg

1/2teas ginger

1teas soda

Add dry ingredients to creamed mixture

Drop by teaspoon full onto a greased cookie sheet

and bake @ 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes...
